Write Without Fear ~ Edit Without Mercy
There are times I perform comprehensive edits to perfect a manuscript.
Many times I'm a researcher and ghostwriter developing the narrative.
Professional Development
Writing Approaches
Catering to various writing styles calls for being a biographer, ghostwriter, editor or content developer.
Editorial Experience
No doubt we learn by doing. I started doing in my writing classes years ago and never stopped. After 30+ ghost projects, and authoring six books, I can say that experience is an educator indeed.
Each of us has a story to tell. The secret is knowing your audience and how your story will inform, entertain, or hurt them. You don't want the latter.
Story Creation / Manuscript Development
Here is where your story, or message, gets refined and expanded so that it becomes relevant. Know your story. Choose your audience. Outline your message and I will take it from there to develop a captivating salable story.
Editing
I perform Comprehensive Editing, which includes various levels of necessary rewriting for structure, flow and content strength.
**Proofreading is included.
Ghostwriting
The ghostwriting process begins when interview time has been scheduled with the author and me, the writer. This is when I capture the author’s voice and idea (s) for their story. Interviews are done preferably in-person. Other options are by phone, Skype, Face-Time. Once the interview is complete, I will do a chapter outline from the interview content and send to you for approval before manuscript development begins.
Book Cover Design
My creationists, artists, photographers, and graphic designers will work with your content to design a cover to suit your book uniquely.
Book Proposals
This is a 20-50-page chapter-by-chapter summary of a proposed book, in its entirety. I will only write proposals for manuscripts I've already written or edited. A proposal is, in essence, a plan and is used to build author platform, identify target audience, and will introduce the selling points of the proposed book’s title as compared to competitive titles.
Let's Talk
The first step, to actualizing your book, is to have a conversation with me; I need to hear your idea and you need to hear my recommendations. Let's schedule a time to talk.
